Guided by experts, you'll experience the elegance of this exquisite and highly valued garment, connecting with the rich traditions of Japan in a way few others can. For men, we also provide the opportunity to don the sokutai, a ceremonial court attire worn during Japan's imperial period. This exquisite garment, consisting of a formal robe, silk cords, and a distinctive hat, represents the height of traditional Japanese court dress. The sokutai is not only a symbol of historical significance but also an embodiment of timeless elegance.

You can also watch the demonstration of hand reeling filature and hand weaving with Jacquard loom by a Nishijinori certified craftsman and small exhibitions about Nishijin textile. An interpreter will accompany you at every stage of the experience.
