Just Came Back from Vienna!

In Vienna, I was advised that Rui's products might be classified as works of art, and I visited several galleries. There seems to be a lot of interest in Japanese art, and some told us that our products are classified as contemporary art.

In terms of price our products are more like works of art, but they are ultimately craft items.  That's the tricky part. But what is the definition of a work of art in the first place?

Although it is not an expression of an individual's aesthetic sense, is there any reason why a work that brings together the skills and sensibilities of many professionals cannot be called art? 

I love orchestral music rather than solo instrumental music because there is always a synergy to create something one can not create alone. I hope I can express it somehow in the marketing.
