Explore the beauty of Kyoto with a special opportunity to dress like a Maiko and Geisha, offered by the Nishijin Textile Center, a renowned expert in traditional weaving. This experience, provided by an organization dedicated to the art of textiles, offers an authentic and memorable way to connect with Kyoto’s rich traditions.

You can also watch the demonstration of hand reeling filature and hand weaving with Jacquard loom by a Nishijinori certified craftsman and visit a small exhibition about Nishijin textile located in the center. An interpreter will accompany you at every stage of the experience.
