Q: What should I do if tea stains appear?
A: Soaking cups in diluted bleach solution seems to be common. Rubbing with a sponge like magic eraser can also remove quite a bit of dirt.
Q: I chipped it a bit, but it's not so big to be repaired with "Kintsugi". What should I do?
A: Minor chips can be made less noticeable by re-firing.

Q: What is the difference between "Luxury" woven artworks and "Casual Wall Decor" woven artworks?
A: Luxury woven artworks mostly use genuine gold and platinum leaf with accompanying certificates of analysis, while casual wall decor does not. Additionally,the size of Luxury woven artworks is larger. However, both use the highest grade of silk from Bratac.
Q: Is it possible to feel the fabric before making a purchase?
A: While we do not offer complimentary fabric samples, we do sell fabric remnants. You may begin by exploring these remnants, some of which feature genuine gold leaf. Additionally, if remnants of the specific artwork you are considering are available, we can provide them. For further information, please contact us directly. Q: Can I see the artwork before making a purchase?
A: Some pieces are permanently exhibited at the Nishijin Asagi Museum, but most are displayed intermittently. If you are visiting Kyoto, please feel free to contact us, and we can arrange for you to see the artwork of your choice.
Q: How long does it take from payment confirmation to dispatching the product?
A: For framed wall decor and fabric scraps, we will ship the items within a week after payment is confirmed. For luxury framed pieces, if the textile and frame are in stock, we will ship them within 10 days after payment confirmation. However, if they are not in stock, it may take about a month. If you are in a hurry, please be sure to contact us before making a purchase.
Q. If I hang a maru obi in my room as a wall decoration, what should I do to take care of it on a daily basis?
A. You can just dust it off with a broom.
Q. Can I order a framed artwork without a frame?
A. Of course. Please contact us for more information.
Q. What should I do if it gets dirty?
A. Please have it cleaned by dry cleaning.
Q: It has fold wrinkles. What should I do?
A. It will fall off naturally if you hang it for a while, but if you put a cloth on it and iron it from the back, it will stretch out beautifully. Since this is a silk product, please iron at low to medium heat.
Q. What does the back of a decorative maru obi look like?
A. Decorative maru obi, intended for display rather than wear, are not finished as traditional obi. The back of a maru obi looks like this immediately after completion.
